Unveiled – the renovated language stimulation room at Kwa Thintwa School for the Deaf

School Principal, Dr Mavis Naidoo and the teachers of Kwa Tinthwa School are delighted with the generously repaired Language Stimulation Room, making it safe again for use.

Always forward thinking, Dr Naidoo has the dream of expanding this important learning facility to a larger and more long lasting unit than a wooden cabin.  The fund towards a brick and tile building has already been started with your Mission Patron donations.  Thank You.

The standard of education at Kwa Thintwa School gives deaf children a chance to succeed in life, as proved by the final year class which achieved a 100% examination pass rate.  And one of the students was placed third nationally in South African Sign Language.

As Dr Naidoo recently wisely quoted: ‘You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.’
