You’ve brought the hope back to Hopewell

After having had harvest collections for years towards funding a new church, the people of Hopewell were becoming disheartened by nothing much happening.

Your donations to help build the new church changed all that. In a previous newsletter you saw the steel structure in place. Now, in this photograph, you can see the walls going up.

Not only has ‘something happening’ renewed the commitment of the parishioners to continue collecting funds towards the completion and furnishing of the church, but it’s created fresh enthusiasm. Many Catholics that Father Sifiso hasn’t seen for some time are pouring back. The congregation has grown larger, and many more people are sitting outside the old brokendown church building to attend Sunday Mass.
