The blankets you gave

Unlike in your part of the world, winter 2016 is well in the past here in South Africa, and our gratitude for the blankets you gave is ever present.

Those who received them were wrapped in your kindness. And there were enough to share with the poorest of the poor even beyond the borders of our own Archdiocese. Thank You!

Our gratitude is particularly for the frail old people who were helped, and also the very young – babies and children – all of them the most vulnerable and at-risk in extreme weather conditions.

God bless you for your continued generosity when winter comes. We wouldn’t be able to help without your open-hearted kindness.
