Thanks and appreciation from Archbishop Jwara

The floods that overtook our province brought pain to many communities. And sincere thanks are due to everyone who responded to the critical need.

Caritas Durban distributed the food, clothing, supermarket vouchers and money to where it was needed most.

Holy Father, Pope Francis, sent his donation. And the Apostolic Nuncio, His Excellency Archbishop Peter Wells and his secretary, Monsignor Dario Pavisa, visited the affected areas to pray with communities, visit families, offer words of encouragement and distribute assistance.
