thankyou

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, for so much love

‘Thank You’, can’t be said enough times for your support during the Covid-19 lockdown, and beyond.

With poverty and hunger already the norm for many of our people, the pandemic made a bad situation worse. Poverty and hunger became more intense and widespread, in both urban township and rural areas.

Your donations to make food available meant more than you can know.

In some instances your donation took the form of a voucher, allowing people the dignity of choosing their own grocery items. In other cases, parcels were made up of basic nutritious ingredients to provide meals, and delivered to homes.

When our Siyathandwa Drop In Centres had to be closed the question was, ‘What will happen to the children who depend on the food they receive daily at the centre?’

Again, you stepped up to ensure that we could keep taking care of these little ones in their homes. Your food parcels and your love that went with them was such a blessing. This was especially so in the many child-headed homes of orphaned children.

Then came Christmas, and we asked you again . . . for food.

Again, you opened your heart with a ‘gift of hope’ – a gift just as valuable as the gold, frankincence, and myrrh offered to welcome the Christ Child at His birth.

In its outward sign of food, we’ve felt your love so strongly during these difficult times – times which are not yet over. God bless you for your love, and please know that you are loved in return.

Dear Cardinal Napier
Your feedback via this newsletter is most appreciated and heart warming . And your sharing Pope Francis’ message to the world to change our behaviour from the ” Me” to the ” We” focus is powerful and direct. Thank you for sharing this with us.
God Bless you and everyone in the Zulu Mission.
