Meeting the Pope

Recently our Archbishop,  Siegfried Jwara CMM and newly ordained Auxiliary Bishop, Monsignor Elias Zondi, met the Holy Father, Pope Francis on their Ad Limina visit to Rome.

The Ordination of Monsignor Elias to the Episcopacy, as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Durban and Titular Bishop of the See of Rutabo took place on Saturday 8 July. We congratulate Bishop Zondi. May he assist His Grace, Archbishop Jwara in the good governance of the Archdiocese of Durban, and serve as a courageous witness of the Gospel to the people.
