God provided the water. You made it flow. Thank you!
‘Thank you’ a thousand times. Your kindness in response to the need for a life-giving water supply at St Raphael’s Mission was overwhelming.
Father Faustin and his community are more than grateful. Your generosity turned what began as a dream into a reality. We also thank God for the gift of underground water, and being led to the discovery of this precious resource.
On the long road from dream to reality, your many messages of enquiry as to progress were so deeply appreciated, as were your generous gifts. You kept us encouraged and believing that the people of St Raphael’s Mission would one day soon have a permanent water source.
Amongst the first to experience the flow of clean water were the grandmothers of the area. They came with containers to fill, singing a traditional Zulu song of joy and gratitude, and saying “We’re so very happy and thankful for this change to our lives. We thank you for the water.”
In addition to the Mission community’s financial contribution to the sinking of the well, the St Raphael’s Parish Council has undertaken responsibilities for the sustainability of the well and maintenance of all its working parts.
Father Faustin thanks you, we all thank you. The flowing of the water could not have happened without you. God bless you.
