Drop In Centres = ‘family’ for orphaned and vulnerable children

The Valley of a Thousand Hills is home to a huge poor rural community. It’s an area where the Church’s religious and lay volunteers see the welfare of children as vitally important. This is especially so where parents have died, leaving families of child headed households behind.

Out of this concern, the Drop In Centres were initiated. These are places where older children can get breakfast before going to school, and leave their young siblings in safe care. Then after school, there’s help with homework. And at the top of a very long ‘wish list’ is a computer with educational programmes for each Centre.

The children who need the Drop In Centre are ‘everybody’s children.’ Please remember them in your prayers.
